Why dose sizes trade at different prices

Every dose size of a potion is a separate Grand Exchange item with its own price, its own order book and its own 4-hour buy limit. Demand isn't spread evenly across them: 4-dose potions are usually the most wanted because a full potion is the most value per inventory slot, while 1-, 2- and 3-dose potions get dumped onto the GE by players who sipped part of a potion and sold the rest. That mismatch opens a gap in the price per dose — and because decanting is lossless (doses always carry over: three 4-dose potions become exactly four 3-dose potions), the gap can be collected as profit.

How to read the board

Buy (dose) is the cheapest-per-dose size at its instant-sell price — where you place your buy offer. → Sell (dose) is the richest-per-dose size at its instant-buy price. Profit / potion is per potion you sell, already net of the 2% GE tax and the 5 gp vial fee when splitting down; / dose makes different potions comparable. 24h vol is the lower of the two variants' volumes — both sides of the trade have to fill, so the thinner side is the real constraint. The board also drops implausibly large gaps (over ~35% per dose): on a lossless conversion those are almost always a stale price on an illiquid variant, not a fill you'll actually get.

Executing the flip

Buy the cheap dose size, decant at Bob Barter at the Grand Exchange (members, takes noted potions) or Zahur in Nardah, and relist the rich size. Margins per potion are small — the money is volume, and since each dose size has its own buy limit you can scale by running several potions from the table at once. Prices move minute to minute, so re-check before committing big stacks; you can follow open flips on the tracker and get a Discord alert when your sell price prints. FAQ

• Is decanting really lossless? Yes — doses always carry over. The only cost is 5 gp per missing vial when you split down to a smaller dose (you end up with more potions than vials); combining upward is free.
• Where do I decant? Zahur in Nardah decants any potions, noted or unnoted, for free. Bob Barter does the same right at the Grand Exchange but is members-only.
• Is the GE tax included? Yes. Profit / potion is after the 2% tax on the sale and the vial fee where it applies — the same math as the flip finder.
• Why do I see bigger decant margins quoted elsewhere? Usually a stale price on a variant that barely trades. This board requires real 24h volume on both the buy and sell size and filters out gaps too large to be genuine.
